Integration with Google Meet

Please consider integrating Google Meet so clients booking virtual appointments can automatically receive a link at the time of booking.

Hi Christina!
We do have an existing functionality that will allow you to provide clients with a meeting link automatically. Users can add a conference link to their profile which can be added as dynamic content to your booking reminders and/or confirmations for the virtual service. The system will then populate the assigned provider's conference link in those messages when they go out to customers.
Or were you looking for a functionality where each customer gets a unique meeting link (i.e. generated specifically for their booking)?

Lauren Taylor Thanks, Lauren! We couldn't find the functions for this. We don't need a unique link for every booking.

Dr.Christina Lucas: I see! In that case I would recommend taking a look at using provider conference links. We do have a help guide available on that subject, called Video Conferencing Links. That guide walks through how to add a link to your user profile and has some information on using it as dynamic content in your client notifications.
Of course if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us in the support chat!

Lauren Taylor Hi Lauren! Thanks for this. I just added my Google Meet link to my user profile and then scheduled a test virtual appointment, but the link is not included. I tried adding the Google Meet link as a default location for the virtual appointments, but it won't let me add a virtual address. What am I doing wrong?

Dr.Christina Lucas: After adding the link to your profile you will also need to add the dynamic content for provider link to your message template. It will then appear in the message content, it will not appear in the ICS file (which is what your mail provider uses to populate that info at the top of the email you received). If you have any trouble with adding dynamic content please don't hesitate to reach out to us in the support chat!
