Add recurring booking functionality to blocked time scheduling

Currently manually scheduled blocked times are scheduled one at a time. This request is to add the option of recurring scheduling to blocked time scheduling (similar to how recurring bookings are scheduled).

Block time off is clunky

Needs to be easier to block time off for travel service based businesses like dog trainers to prevent clients booking times that aren’t available. Atm it is very clunky, you need to click ‘block time’ then block time again then pick your times from 24hr clock. It would be better to click block time then select time like you where going to select ‘book’

Repeating blocked time

We would like the ability to have a repeated blocked time so you don't have to block times off individually. Options like weekly, biweekly, monthly and more specific like "last Sunday of the month" would be great.

Would you mind sharing a bit more detail about your request? We do have a block time before/after setting for services that can be used to automatically prevent clients from booking appointments back to back. That setting can be used to help account for travel time.

Lauren Taylor yes I mean more so where you block time off for holidays. AsAs I’As I’m a sole trader and I was used to the square system where making a booking I could click to book or or personal event. But now when I need to book time off for myself whether it’s an appointment or other you have to press block time in Calendar and then block time in calendar again to be able to put anything in. It would be easier if it was a part of the book now button and you could select to book personal time off. Does that make sense?

Roxy Cameron Roxy, I do this by syncing it to my work calender (google) and inviting any personal things to my work Calended to automatically block off days, appointments and other things like meetings that I'm not available to work, therefore Dont have to worry about blocking it off via the block button.

Roxy Cameron: That's correct! We usually recommend using the two-way Google Calendar sync to ensure your personal vacation days or appointments are blocked off in BusyPaws. Let us know if you have any trouble setting your sync up!
